The hotel was a very good deal for the price. It's close to the train station and just a short walk from shops and restaurants. The staff were kind and accommodating, and worked hard to meet my needs. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and they let me take some food in a takeaway container. The only downside for me was hearing other guests in the hall while trying to sleep, since the walls are fairly thin. It wasn't a big enough issue to put me off, though. I'd book here again in a heartbeat.

I travel a lot for work, and this week alone I stayed in four hotels over five days. This one was easily the best. The pillows are fit for royalty!

A decent place for a night or two on a work trip. The view of the canal is gorgeous, and the hotel sits right across from Middleburg railway station. My room was a good size and clean. Breakfast had very few options for vegetarians and vegans.

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was alright. That was about all I liked. For a supposed four-star hotel, there was very little on offer, and it didn't meet that standard. The room cost a lot for its size and amenities. It was so cramped the bed took up nearly all the space, leaving my suitcase by the door. The bathroom was tiny too, with barely enough room to get to the toilet between the shower screen and sink. There was no ventilation or AC, which I hadn't encountered in a hotel before. The only option was opening the window. The lift was a joke. In short, a disgrace.

This place falls a long way short of four stars, maybe two at most. It smells inside, and the rooms are so tiny you can't even move a chair over to the table.
