The breakfast was a real highlight, so good and tasty. We also loved the cozy, art-filled rooms, the friendly staff who made us feel at home, and the garden where we could relax. There’s a little kitchen with useful things, too. Van Gogh house, the town’s main attraction, is an easy walk away.

A friendly owner, a lovely bathroom, and a good bed. This is a nice B&B, and breakfast was tasty.

Bea gave us a really warm welcome when we arrived. We stayed for one night in a tidy room with a small bathroom and a lovely rain shower. Breakfast was generous, with orange juice, coffee, tasty rolls, croissants, pancakes, and different toppings. We’d gladly recommend this neat B&B and would check if it had a room if we’re in the area again.

My husband had Parkinson’s, and the steep stairs were impossible for him when we arrived on March 21st. We were meant to attend a farewell cremation for my friend at 9:00 PM, so the person from B&B Vincent sent us to De Valk. It was full, but we found a room in the center of Emmen. That cost €139.00, on top of more than €80 for the B&B and our travel expenses. We didn’t get a cent back. I believe we booked B&B Vincent through Bol.com. After 18 years with Parkinson’s, my husband passed away on August 11th. This was a bitter pill to swallow. Kind regards, A.M. Leenstra
