Rika was so kind and responsive throughout our stay. She even let us bring our tandem bicycle inside so it wouldn’t be left out in the rain. The apartment itself faces a lovely green park, has outdoor seating, and is only about a four minute walk from the grocery store. We liked being able to make dinner and breakfast there. We spent one night at Appartement Badnieuweschans in late August 2023, while we’d already been traveling around the Netherlands for a month. It was one of the best places we stayed. The huge studio is in a historic building, though the space seems newly built. It has a large living area with a big sectional and TV, an extra large bed, a dining table for six, and a fully equipped kitchen. Modern, stylish furnishings made it comfortable, too.

The breakfast was delicious, and Rika and her sister brought it to us after a warm welcome from Rika. The apartment is charming and wonderfully spacious, with everything provided. A solid 10!

The owner was super friendly, and the top-floor apartment was lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the decor is tasteful. It has everything you need. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay in this neat, clean ground-floor apartment. It’s spacious and in a quiet spot, with the wellness center within walking distance. Definitely recommended.

The peaceful setting makes it easy to leave everyday life behind, and the generous space helped us feel at home right away. We were thrilled with both apartments. Each has its own tasteful design, and the pellet stoves were a highlight, giving the rooms a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!
