The kitchen had ants, and some things were quite worn, including a broken fridge shelf and drawers. The sink in the downstairs bathroom barely drained. It was acceptable overall, though the house needs some renovation. When we arrived the whole house was cold, and it was hard to warm the upstairs rooms. One thermostat controlled the ground-floor heating, so even when it was comfortable downstairs, the upstairs stayed much colder.

We wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for families with children. The place was cold, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the guests in nearby cabins didn’t seem family oriented. Some of our group stayed two nights, then cut that down to one after the first night. Because of COVID restrictions in Holland and everything closing after 5pm, I asked to move our family booking. The hotel wouldn’t refund us or let us reschedule without a penalty. There are lovely places to visit in Noordwijk, but this wasn’t one of them.

This was my second visit, and I’m still really happy with it. The little houses are cozy and clean, and it’s a handy starting point for bike rides or trips to the beach.

I stayed here for three months. The customer service was really bad, the Wi-Fi kept cutting out every few hours, and the beds were uncomfortable. It was cold too. I wouldn’t recommend visiting.

Clean, family friendly, and dog friendly. A fence and gate would’ve helped keep the dog from wandering off, though.
