Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant De Witte Raaf

We were pleasantly surprised and quite impressed, despite the negative reviews we'd seen online. Our room was clean and a good size, and while parts of the building are older, the place is well maintained. There was some noise, but that's normal in an older building, and the hotel can't really control how other guests behave. The Fletcher Hotel Restaurant in Noordwijk aan Zee is near the beach and easy to get to. Rooms vary in what they offer, but all have a private bathroom, television, telephone, Wi-Fi, and coffee maker. Some also have a balcony or views of the dunes or sea. Reception, the lobby, and restaurant are on the ground floor, with a terrace next to the restaurant. Breakfast and hot meals are served there. There's parking, and the hotel works for both leisure and business trips.

I love spending my free time here. It's a mid-sized hotel with a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant, and the menu has plenty of tasty food and lovely wines and beers. The food and drinks were fresh and high quality. Everything was clean and orderly, and the staff were wonderfully kind.

We ate at the restaurant twice while staying in the area, though we didn't stay at the hotel itself. It was excellent and affordable, easily the best meal out we had around the Nordwijk region. Strongly recommended!

The lobby, restaurant, and location are lovely, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. It's an old place, though, and definitely not luxury. The room didn't feel up to 4-star standards: stains on the walls, furniture, and in the bathroom, along with mould, rust, and dirt. It was cold and they couldn't fix it. At least the bed was comfortable. Fine for one night, but I probably won't return, sorry.
