De Bonte beleving

The children had a great time with the games, Donald Ducks and craft paper in the living room cupboard, and the outdoor playground has a trampoline and playhouse. We also loved the veranda, where we spotted deer several times in the open field nearby. The cottage was spotless, from the kitchen to the bathroom, and felt very different from a standard holiday rental, with lots of care put into how it was furnished. The beds were good box springs, the sofa was really comfortable, and the kitchen had everything, including Nespresso and filter coffee machines, plenty of dishes and plastic tableware for children. Even coffee capsules, wine and juice were provided. We had a lovely midweek autumn break. Thanks, Marieke & family, for such a well-looked-after week.

It has the feel of coming home, with tasteful decor and lots of space, rather than a standard holiday cottage. Everything is there, including the little essentials. The owner was easy to reach, flexible and helpful. There are friendly, curious neighbors behind the house too.

The owners are very friendly, and the cottages are lovely inside and out. Everything in the cottage felt just right, with nothing missing, and we felt at ease as soon as we walked in. In the fields you can often spot deer early in the morning or in the evening. From the droppings, which the owner had tidied up, it looked like they'd even wandered into the garden. Such a relaxing place, highly recommended.

The location is ideal, near both the beach and the village. The house is lovely, and they seem to have thought of everything. There's a nice terrace and outdoor space where the kids can play.
