The one thing I’d improve is the outside noise in room 5. We couldn’t tell what caused it, but it sounded like something moving along the metal gutter or railings. We didn’t hear it at all in room 3. The rooms are like those at a good bed and breakfast. We stayed one night and had dinner at the restaurant. The staff were attentive throughout, and they even arranged a takeaway breakfast when I had to leave early the next morning. Dinner was high quality and good value, with some very good vegetarian choices. The petit grand dessert was okay, though it didn’t stand out like the earlier courses. We enjoyed our stay.

My daughter and I had a wonderful schnitzel dinner on Father’s Day. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make the evening special.

The staff were really nice, but the food was just okay and nothing especially memorable. I expected more in both the quality and the portion size.

The food was good for its quality and price, and the acoustic music was lovely, played at just the right volume. A few staff members could have been friendlier, though. A smile makes a difference. It’s a popular place, so I’d book ahead. Nice to see a business doing well in Noordwijkerhout after the shop apocalypse.
