Residence Le Mistral

We came back because last year's apartment had been perfectly fine, but this one has definitely put us off returning to an apartment like it, especially at the highest price. There weren't any photos beforehand except one of the living room. That room was nice, with a balcony and sea view, but the rest was almost unbearable. The bedroom had no window and was dark and stuffy. The bathroom was the worst part, outrageously small, no more than about two square metres, with the shower, toilet and sink all crammed together so tightly you could hardly turn around. The sink was so high our children had to call us to help them wash up. The hallway smelled like garbage. There was a large microwave beside the kitchen, but it wasn't plugged in and there was no outlet. There was no dishwasher or oven either. It's a shame, because the stay really spoiled our mood.

Parking was the main drawback, since spaces are limited and expensive, especially for a longer stay. The apartment itself was centrally located on the second floor, with a sea view. It was fantastic, fully renovated and in excellent condition.

The standard is pretty low. There's no washing machine or oven, and the biggest downside is that there's no internet in the bedrooms. Wi-Fi is available in the building, but the signal is weak.

The location near the beach, shops and restaurants was fantastic, and we felt very comfortable during our week at Residence Le Mistral. We were five, two adults and three teenagers, in a spacious, beautifully and newly furnished apartment with two bedrooms and a sofa bed. There was plenty of seating and a lovely view, and the bathroom had both a bath and shower. It had practically everything we needed, though more towel hooks and a rack for drying beach clothes would've been handy. A family with three young children lived above us, and we could hear them quite clearly. It didn't bother us too much, but anyone sensitive to noise might want a top-floor apartment. We'd love to come back.
