Pension de Driesprong

We stayed here twice in 2018, for a few days each time, and liked it much more than another place we tried. It was simple but pleasant, and the hosts were very friendly. Our room was in the attic, where the light sometimes looked like a heart depending on the window’s position. Since we’d just fallen in love, we found that pretty amusing :-) The breakfast room felt cozy and had everything we needed. If we came back, we’d probably stay at Driespron again. Thanks for the time we spent there, and I hope it’s still just as nice. Best regards.

The breakfast was what I’d been especially looking forward to after reading the reviews, and it didn’t disappoint: tasty and varied, with different fruit each morning, spreads, a fresh egg, orange juice, and coffee. I stayed for a week and was welcomed warmly, with the house rules explained. The hosts have put years of dedicated work into the guesthouse and will soon retire. I wish them all the best, and congratulations on finding good accommodations for you and your dog! 👍🏻😊 The rooms have enough space to get comfortable, though the shower and toilet are a bit small and noise carries through the rooms. I felt at home. I also can’t understand a review calling the owners xenophobic. When it was posted, four families in the breakfast room all agreed they didn’t share that view. To that lady, why not talk to them in person instead of angrily writing rants that harm the couple’s and guesthouse’s reputation? For everyone still staying here, it’s hard to find nicer hosts. The guesthouse is privately run by a family, and the location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk to the promenade or town. Breakfast is truly outstanding. Sadly, it’s only open until the end of the year, when the incredibly friendly owners retire.

The owners are nice and friendly, and breakfast is good. The rooms are clean but a little sparsely furnished. The mattresses aren’t suitable for anyone with back problems.
