Two Brothers Noordwijk Beach

Quite a faulty-towers kind of place. The old building feels tired, and the room was terrible for the high price. If they're charging that much, it needs to be better. The Dutch hospitality approach was, as usual, not much to write home about: don't expect a smile, a thank you, or even basic politeness 😂😂

The deluxe rooms are really nice, with a balcony and none of the problems we had in the basic room. That bathroom is so cramped you can wash your hands while sitting on the toilet. The shower curtain had mold, too. Both room types lack air conditioning, although you can open the windows.

There’s a great pub tucked inside the hotel, so don’t miss it while you’re in Noordwijk. It has the feel of a big living room, and Thijs, the main bartender, is a wonderful host.

The rooms were just average, and the food could be better for what it costs. The Two Brother burger was a nice touch. But I had a really unsettling experience with a kitchen staff member touching his private area while cooking, then cooking after smoking without washing his hands. It gave me chills.
