A small-scale campsite with good sanitary facilities. The pitches are rather small, so there isn’t room to park the car between the caravans. Still, it’s an ideal place for a long weekend.

Marijanne is a friendly campsite owner, and the sanitary building is beautiful. The campsite sits right in the village of Norg. We cycled to Veendam to visit the prison museum.

There’s plenty to enjoy in the area, with beautiful routes for walking and cycling, and the campsite is close to the center of Norg. The facilities were super clean, with toilet paper, paper towels, and wet cleaning wipes. Hot water for washing dishes was great, and the showers were free, though operated by a push button and with no way to adjust the temperature. The Wi-Fi was excellent. The one thing we missed was a bicycle shed.
