The cooking at this cozy hotel and restaurant felt like culinary art. We were absolutely delighted with our days at this estate. A big thank you to all the service staff for creating such a warm, sincere atmosphere, with a welcoming feel, cleanliness and a high standard. And heartfelt compliments to the chef for his creativity and skill, and to all the assistants. We’ll be back! The estate itself is incredibly beautiful, with distinctive castle architecture on the lake and a luxurious park.

The hotel is lovely to look at and set in a quiet, natural spot. The rooms and reception are both high quality. Service was pleasant, though I found the check-out and late check-out process confusing. Apart from that hiccup, I had a fantastic stay. I didn’t try breakfast.

The attached restaurant was good and the service there was friendly. Breakfast was basic and not enough. The experience was good overall, apart from some loud guests in the middle of the night and a strange alarm sound when exiting the room.

Dinner was very good, and there was a good spread at breakfast, though the vending machine coffee was deeply underwhelming. The building is modern, with well-equipped, nicely appointed rooms, and some have a garden terrace. It’s in a beautiful park and quiet, around a 30-35 minute walk from the city centre. Our bedroom was fine, but it had a separate WC and bathroom. The WC was about the size of an aeroplane toilet, and there was no way to wash your hands without going into the bathroom next door. That took some of the luxury feel away.
