We haven’t stayed overnight, but the food and service were up to par. It gets very popular and busy on weekends. The hotel is beautifully set outside Nijmegen, along the dike by the Rijn river.

The food was really tasty. I especially enjoyed the Gravlax and the hazelnootschuimbol, moi lekker 🤩

The apple cake was outstanding, and the service was lovely. We had a very nice lunch with sandwiches and good cheese, fries and some cake. There’s a cozy terrace outside, and it’s just as cozy inside.

We only went to the restaurant, which was packed. The menu sounded appetizing, and both the location and service were excellent. The food was a bit average, though. We both struggled with an overcooked piece of lamb that was tough and fibrous. Still, we had a good time, since food is only part of the experience.

We stopped in just for a snack. Plenty of tables, free parking, good food and nice service. A really pleasant place.
