Westcord Hotel De Wadden

The staff are super nice, and breakfast is very fresh with a wide variety of dining options. Rooms are cozy, and I’d recommend a sea-view room with a balcony. Having that broad view of the Wadden Sea is a really nice touch. It’s quiet despite being in the heart of town, with restaurants all around, including three at the hotel, plus bike rentals and grocery stores. See you soon again.

I slept exceptionally well here. The bed was very comfortable, and our bedroom was surprisingly quiet despite being on the main street of the island’s only town. There are restaurants, gift shops and two grocery stores nearby. The hotel isn’t beside the beach, but there are three bike rental places on the street, and it’s an easy ride to the beach. Our room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extensive, with good coffee, fresh orange juice, fruit, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, and a choice of bread, rolls and breakfast pastries. Don’t miss the Frisian sugar bread. All in all, a great experience!

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. A delightful hotel in an unmatchable location, with lots to recommend.

The restaurant and bar have a really relaxing feel. Getting there is easy too, just a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Our beds were very soft and comfortable, and the shower had new, full bottles of supplies. The balconies have partial fencing and are closed off from the neighboring rooms. We arrived early, but a quick call got us an earlier check-in, and the front desk helped carry a couple of heavy bags up two flights of stairs.
