The farmhouse apartments sit on the quiet east side of the island, close to the Wadden Sea. It’s a lovely spot for bike rides and long walks, and there’s a nature reserve just a few minutes away by car for birdwatching. The old building has been renovated with care and furnished tastefully. Our room was spacious and clean, and the place felt cozy.

The wood stove was a problem for us. When we used it, the neighbors came over in a panic, thinking there might be a fire, and a bad burning smell hung in their apartment. The farmhouse is split into four small apartments, and they’re very noisy. Maybe the gray pigeons next door, who apparently have nothing left to say to each other, would enjoy their holiday here.

The owners were friendly, and the garden was a lovely place to spend time, with a beautiful view and plenty of playground equipment. This neat duplex is in a small, picturesque village, with shops and restaurants close enough to reach by bike. Excellent accommodation.

The cleaning lady came by and said everything was fine, but I found the apartment very dirty. Even the Dutch neighbors staying in another apartment thought it was very dirty. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments.

Everything was clean, and the service was good. A lovely little cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
