B&B Erve Höwerboer

Ootmarsum turned out to be a surprisingly nice town, an easy walk away, and there’s plenty to do and rent in the area. Our family rented the whole B&B. The rooms are large and have bathrooms, the kitchen works well, and there are lots of tables and chairs indoors. For a big group, though, there isn’t much sofa seating. The covered outdoor area is a real plus for eating or having a BBQ. There’s a swing and trampoline for kids, and extra single beds are available for them. No toys are provided, so we brought our own. Parking fits a few cars; there’s a charging station across the road in a big parking lot, where parking is limited to three hours. The main road runs right past the B&B, which was the only drawback, though it didn’t bother us too much.

Clean rooms, a cozy dining room, and a lovely hostess. Ootmarsum is beautifully situated, and this B&B is a great choice if you really want to unwind.

Everything is within walking distance, and the hostess is so friendly. A really lovely B&B.

The breakfast was generous, with lots to choose from, and I slept well in my clean, tidy room. I felt welcome during my one-night stay, and the owner was very friendly. Entry and exit are by key only, and card payment is accepted. I followed one of the walking routes available here. Ootmarsum center is just five minutes away, and Nordhorn in Germany is a 20-minute trip.
