It's a lovely spot right by the canal. There's plenty to watch as boats and other traffic go past.

The service was spot on and we got a pleasant welcome. The food was excellent, especially the pike-perch fillet, which we'd recommend. They even brought fresh water for our dog Jimmy.

The friendly service was great, and my dinner companions enjoyed their meals too. I had a delicious meat carpaccio, followed by a fantastic sirloin steak. The caramel dessert was heavenly and finished everything off nicely. We ate at It Posthûs yesterday and had a wonderful meal.

We'd be happy to come back. We were late, and although the kitchen was due to close in 15 minutes, they still let us order dinner. That was especially appreciated after we'd been held up in front of a bridge for 5.5 hours because a hydraulic pump had broken and it wouldn't open. We enjoyed a delicious meal, dessert, and a lovely coffee to finish.

The food was fine, but I found both the price and portion size very disappointing. The waitress did exactly what was expected, and that was the issue: no extra attention, the wrong cutlery left in place, and dirty cutlery not cleared and reset. It felt like a café charging restaurant prices.
