Rêst en Romte

We really enjoyed our stay. Henk and Jantina own the B&B and gave us a very friendly welcome. The room was beautiful, and the breakfast service was excellent.

The apartment was spotless, really cozy, and furnished with so much attention to detail. It had everything we needed, even storage and charging facilities for our bikes. Rainy evenings were no problem at all. Outside, the garden is like a park, full of little things to discover and wonderfully peaceful. We could settle wherever we liked to relax, making it a perfect place to unwind. Henk and Jantina are so warm and welcoming, and every morning they made a delicious breakfast with everything you could want. We'd love to come back!

The garden has plenty of lovely places to sit, including a sheltered spot, and you can use the sauna if you ask. Henk and Jantine also have lots of detailed suggestions for local nature and cultural sights. They bring a generous, varied breakfast to your room whenever you prefer. We had a warm welcome, and the room felt like a proper apartment, with a bedroom, a snug living and dining area, and a big bathroom. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return.

The five days we spent here were fantastic. Each morning, Jantine and Henk brought a generous, delicious breakfast to the front door of our beautifully kept apartment. It was everything together that made us feel at home: Henk's open, welcoming manner, the peaceful scenery and lovely side light, and the storybook garden, full of little surprises around every corner. We arrived on Pentecost Sunday at their farmhouse in Burdaard, where they run the B&B “Rest en Romte.” Perfect marks for the male teacher, and a kiss for the female teacher. Ans and Wieke
