After a long day of cycling, it was lovely to put my feet up in the sitting room and settle into a comfortable bed. The rooms have a cozy feel, and breakfast was great, especially the freshly baked bread. It's peaceful here, and a brisk short walk takes you to the town center for something to eat.

We ended up staying in for dinner because the place was so cozy. The living room was lovely, and we relaxed with a baguette, some wine, and music we picked on the iPad.

Breakfast was generous and really tasty, and our two Labradors were greeted warmly. The bathrobes were a thoughtful help for nighttime trips, since the heating wasn't on and there was no heat in the bathroom. The room itself felt quite dated. The box-spring bed was fairly comfortable, though the dining table sat right beside it, and the room doors couldn't be locked. The pellet stove also wasn't much use: it could only run now and then during the day before shutting off because of gas and overheating, so we couldn't use it overnight. The setting is rural, but not always quiet with Groningen Airport nearby.

The bedroom was separate from a cozy living room, and the bed was wonderfully high. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty to choose from. A lovely B&B, with a very friendly hostess.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We were welcomed warmly, and the owner was helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with generous portions.
