We had a lovely, large room with a great shower and strong water pressure. The Blue Stairs sits peacefully beside the canals, with a gorgeous view from the room. Mark and Louise were thoughtful and friendly hosts. We’ll remember our stay fondly and hope we can come back someday.

The manager was especially kind and helped us with everything we needed. The room had all the essentials, the view was beautiful, and the location was excellent. I’d definitely recommend it for a great Amsterdam holiday.

Louise & Marc made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our bright, airy room had big windows looking out over a canal in the old town, and had been newly renovated. There was a little kitchen with enough for a filling breakfast and a delicious coffee machine. We could walk to places like Van Loon, Rijks, and Rembrandt Square, or head out for boat tours and the many restaurants nearby. The surroundings looked just like you’d hope Amsterdam would.

Even with grey skies over Amsterdam, the stairs stayed blue. Louise and Marc were perfect hosts, and the room was lovely. It was calm, and breakfast was good too. Thanks, see you soon.

We had a clean, comfortable room in this beautifully restored B&B right beside the canal. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. It’s a beautiful place, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
