The owners were incredibly friendly, and the place is furnished with so much care. We got a private tour of the side rooms, including the chapel. A real gem.

The villa is a beautiful old mansion, kept in wonderful condition. Stepping inside felt like going back in time, and we loved that. We spent a wonderful week there and in the surrounding area. The welcome was so warm, and on our first day we lingered over breakfast, talking with one of the owners. We clicked right away. The loft was great, but too spacious for just the two of us. We booked late, so there weren't other rooms available, and we made the best of it. Next time we’ll probably choose one of the rooms. I loved relaxing in the pretty bay window with coffee and a good book. It won’t be our last stay there. :-)

Everything was neat and tidy, and the location was super nice. The lady running the accommodation was so sweet, and breakfast was delicious too. We stayed one night and I’d recommend it to anyone. 🌞

We’ve stayed here twice before, with the kids in rooms 2 and 3, and this time had room 1, with the bathroom and large bathtub. It was perfect for a romantic weekend without children. All the rooms are charming and the beds comfortable. We got to have breakfast downstairs again, then sit on the terrace and enjoy the space and scenery. What a beautiful historic building, too. I’m always impressed, and you feel at home the moment you walk in. The owner and the people running the B&B are lovely and very hospitable. We combined our stay with a boat trip to the beautiful Hindelopen region, walks in the woods, and fish dinner by the water. The boat rental was a 10-minute drive away. We highly recommend De Villa and will definitely return.
