It’s such a peaceful, beautiful place, and worth visiting in any season. I just couldn’t find any public toilets. Having one near the playground would be great.

There are activities for children in this quiet spot, and a beautiful forest where you can take either a long walk or a short one.

We stayed in the safari tent and loved it. The beds were comfortable and it was furnished in a cozy way. It’s a little apart from the rest of the campsite, which suited us perfectly. The campsite itself is lovely, right in Rijsterbos forest. There’s a snack bar around the corner, and Balk is a few kilometers away. The swimming pool was great for cooling off. We had a wonderful time 👌
