The hotel is in a traditional building with old infrastructure, but it was clean and perfectly fine for me. The restaurant was the highlight. A few days ago I went with a very discerning group of guests, and we had the three-course "surprise" menu. We're still talking about how incredibly delicious everything was. They ask about allergies and dietary restrictions in advance, but I’d encourage you to let the chef work their magic. There were seven of us, and none of us had a complaint. The next day we ate at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and could only call it "okay." Treat yourself to an evening at this fantastic, welcoming restaurant. It's worth spending an extra €10. What you get is more than fair and excellent value. Ask the chef for his recommendations! ;)

We only got to stay one night, which was a shame, and we’ll definitely come back. The service was among the best I’ve ever had in hospitality. It’s a small hotel, but the attention to detail, service and smiles were amazing. I strongly recommend it. Our stop in Rijssen was unexpected, due to some unfortunate circumstances. I think, though I could be wrong, that the hotel is owned by a couple and is family-run through and through. Thank you Peter and Marit for being exceptional, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience we caused.

It’s a family business, and you can feel the care and attention to detail. The room was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was an experience. Amazing place, the best hotel in Nederland so far. Highly, highly recommended. I’m sorry I didn’t get to try the kitchen, because it looked yummy too.
