Meeting the pig that lives in the garden was such a lovely surprise. The quiet atmosphere and personal service made the stay really memorable. It’s a wonderful place to stay in the Netherlands’ smallest castle, with historic character and modern comforts together. I’d happily recommend it.

The garden setting is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. We spent two nights here and had dinner once. It took a while to arrive, but the meal was superb, and breakfast was excellent too. The shower is over the bath, which isn’t my preference, though it was fine. Prices seemed about right for premium accommodation.

There’s plenty of room in the hotel’s comfortable, nicely atmospheric rooms. We also enjoyed the green surroundings and the cute animals around the property. The restaurant is something special: every dish we ordered was spectacular, and the staff were lovely and helpful.

We had such a fun birthday dinner, and the staff were really friendly. The animals are welcome here too. I chose the four-course menu, which was delicious, with lots of local ingredients and some surprising flavor combinations. The restaurant also has a varied selection of food, drinks, and cocktails. Thanks so much!

We had a great time over our two-night stay, and we’ll definitely return and tell our friends about Kasteeltje Hattem. The staff were so friendly and the service felt personal. Both breakfast and the four-course surprise dinner were excellent. The food was amazing, like art on a plate.
