The breakfast had the usual Pieterpad basics: bread, yogurt, ham, cheese, fruit and several jams. The bnb sits in a peaceful spot along the trail, with a garden to wander around and a cosy lounge where you can stretch out in the recliner and watch birds and squirrels. Rooms are thoughtfully done and have what you need. The adjustable beds and just-right pillows made for a comfortable stay. At least one room has an ensuite shower, with good pressure, soft towels, a hair dryer, soap and shampoo.

We could borrow bikes to head into the village for something to eat, which was a lovely bonus. The hostess was so sweet, and after a comfortable night in the beds, the generous breakfast gave us plenty of energy to get back on the Pieterpad.

They were happy to serve breakfast early, and even suggested we come down fifteen minutes sooner so we could sit and relax. Such a thoughtful welcome. The location is lovely, and the room and bathroom were really nice. I slept so well between the Groningen-Zuidlaren and Zuidlaren-Rolde/Schoonloo stages. A 10 with five gold stars!

Right along the Pieterpad, with a lovely room and an adjustable bed. The hostess was so welcoming, and this was a fantastic B&B.

The hostess was polite and professional, which rounded out the stay nicely. The B&B is really well kept, and both the room and bathroom were clean with tidy finishes. Breakfast was beautifully put together, including homemade strawberry and plum jam. You can also charge your car here, a nice extra.
