Don't expect a quick meal here. I had a lovely, leisurely lunch, with a large portion of mackerel salad and a warm gluten-free roll. When I mentioned I was gluten-free and asked what I could eat, they said everything except the croquettes. It cost £19 euros. What a fabulous place.

The drinks were amazing, though we didn't have time to try the food. The staff were quick and cheerful, and the restaurant area was relaxing, with a cute terrace and surprisingly good toilets, which matter at a restaurant. There's a hotel on site and the railway station is very close. I liked the place a lot and will visit again when we're in Roosendaal.
