A Small Hotel

There was no reception or lobby, and no lift. The stairs to the rooms were extremely steep, and I actually fell on them. We also had no front door code at first. Once we finally got in, the card wouldn't open our bedroom door, and the owner gave us no help. The room felt old and musty. With no staff around, we didn't feel safe and had no one to contact in an emergency. After speaking with the owner, he agreed we could leave and said he would refund us personally. The money never came, and now he won't take our calls. This was awful. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

We were looking forward to trying the hotel's all digital setup. A couple of days before arrival, we got the front door code and the locker code for the key card. Both codes worked when we arrived, but there was no card in the locker. We tried the contact number in the email, which wasn't available, then sent a Facebook message and SMS, called on Facebook, and emailed. We got no reply, even seven months later. Some local guests tried calling the hotel manager for us, but got no answer either. Since it was already night, we booked another hotel nearby. After many more attempts, Booking was finally able to reach them. We were charged for the room, and they rejected our complaint that the key card was missing. We paid for two nights without being able to get into the room, and the hotel itself never replied. The management and treatment of guests were horrible. Don't stay here.

There's a steep staircase and no lift, but the owner was very helpful and quick to respond. The room was spacious, well furnished, and had plenty of supplies. It's also close to the #7 tram.

It's in a good spot and has plenty of potential. Paying more attention to the details would help, and adding a lift would be a real improvement.
