Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station by IHG

The shower in my room on the 5th floor was barely a trickle, one of the worst I’ve had. There were cigarette butts scattered around the hotel entrance too, which really needs a sweep. Otherwise, it’s a standard Holiday Inn Express, nothing fancy. Great location for work in the city, two minutes from the station and the main city life. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with good city views. Breakfast was poor, with frozen bread and limited choice, though the service was good and all the staff were really nice.

The rooms were fine and breakfast decent. You can rent bikes for 3 or 24 hours. Check-in was a bit slow, and service generally could be too. If you had a question, you might wait five minutes while staff were on the phone or helping other guests. I’d stay again for the very central location. The train station is next door.

Breakfast was more than enough, and the room was quiet. Cleanliness could use some improvement, especially the ventilation. Rotterdam Central is about a five-minute walk away. There’s parking for members in the multi-storey garage at the back, for 30€ a night, which is perfectly fine. The tram and metro connections are right outside the door, best used with the app.

We’ll definitely book this place again for our next Rotterdam city trip. The morning breakfast was lovely and included, and the compact bathroom had a great shower. The rooms were neat and clean. The parking was easy to access through a secure gate. Reception staff were friendly and professional both at check-in and check-out. Great spot close to the city center, with a tram stop right in front. Thanks for having us, team.
