I've stayed here many times and really like it. It's charming, and the employees are friendly, which makes up for it not being the best of the best. The building is in a great spot, next to a charming church, park, and village square. There's a really good restaurant on the ground floor, too. Some people may find the rooms and bathroom outdated, but the mattress and pillow are great, and the bathroom is clean, which matters more to me. There's no airco, and the nearby church bell rings every half hour. They provide ear plugs for that. I didn't try the Internet, since 5G on the KPN network is great. Breakfast is basic but good, and I especially appreciate that the fruit is fresh, not canned. There's free street parking around the building, so no worries there.

The team was so friendly and helpful when we held a baby shower for 11 ladies at the BoerGoossens restaurant. They even suggested some lovely touches to make the day feel special. Communication beforehand was great, and the service on the day was just as warm.

The staff handled our complaint quickly and very professionally, which really impressed us. Our stay was disrupted by a large party at the hotel, with loud music going until 0130, so we didn’t sleep well. I’d recommend staying here provided there isn’t a party on.

We came for Easter to watch the Eurohockey finals, and the hotel was a convenient base, just a 5km ride from the hockey stadium.

The food was great, and the place has a lovely countryside pub feel. Prices seemed normal for the area. I did notice a really odd smell, though. Maybe locals are used to it and it was just unusual to me.
