Van der Valk Nuland

The staff were really professional and focused on service. I was offered a welcome drink of my choice, and went with a draft beer. My room was in the annex, on the first floor, and I hadn't realized when booking that those rooms are only reached by stairs. It was roomy enough for three, with excellent beds and plenty of outlets. The bathroom was spacious too, with a separate shower, toilet and bathtub, behind a sliding door from the living and sleeping area. There was a wide desk with two chairs, enough space for two people to work on laptops or tablets, plus a landline phone. The room also had two lounge chairs, a small table, and a wall-mounted TV above the desk. Closet space was generous, with a small refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities, and a safe. I even noticed a Van der Valk umbrella in one of the cabinets, available to borrow or buy. The lighting and air conditioning were well managed. I expect breakfast is excellent here too.
