Sandra and the other staff made our family feel really welcome, and the food was delicious. Sandra did a superb job serving all seven of us in the dining room’s ‘a la carte’ section. We were quite a handful: five adults, an 8-year-old, and a 1.5-year-old. Thank you, Sandra!

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, with very good food and friendly service. I only ate there, I didn’t stay at the hotel, and it was a great dining experience.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were great, but I wouldn’t stay at another Van der Valk Hotel. Our room was beautiful since we booked the most expensive type, yet it was insanely cold. They said the central heating couldn’t go above 23 degrees and couldn’t do anything else about the temperature. We stayed for three days, and they left our room uncleaned for two. When I asked why, I was told cleaning would cost €25. Slippers were another €1, and water came from a vending machine charging €2 for 50ml. Basic needs weren’t covered. It’s a shame the Van der Valk family makes so much profit from these hotels but doesn’t provide the basics. Don’t go here!

The restaurant was good, and the breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had. The rooms are really nice too. Getting to the nearest village takes a walk, though, or you can drive there.
