The evening fireplace and terrace made a lovely place to wind down after exploring, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout. Breakfast was generous, with pastries, eggs, bacon, cheese, coffee and drinks. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a cozy bed, tea and coffee, and heating that kept it comfortably warm. We stayed for two days and loved how peaceful the hotel felt. It’s about five minutes on foot from the village, while the ferry bus stops right outside and bike hire is only a couple of minutes away. The beach and red lighthouse are a quick cycle away, or a pleasant walk, and the road from the hotel is a good place to catch the sunset. The historic building is well kept and sits beside the island’s old white lighthouse. Check-in and checkout were easy, and we thought it was good value. We’d happily return.
