The village-edge setting gives the apartment lovely views, with good cycling and walking nearby. It’s a roomy 55 m² ground-floor place, just as described, with a beautiful living room, a thoroughly equipped modern kitchen, and very clean, comfortable beds. There are terraces at both the front and back, and from yours you can see the steam train go by three times a week. Private bike storage too. We’d happily return.

The owners are very friendly, and they email all the useful details before you arrive. There’s also an information folder in the house. The apartment is affordable, clean, and well equipped, with comfortable beds. It’s a great base for seeing the area, with bike rental just around the corner, a covered rack outside, and lots of parking right in front. Highly recommended.

A few cold Brand beers waiting in the fridge made for a lovely welcome from Lodewijk Seelen, who was relaxed and friendly. The apartment is spacious and tidy, with a large terrace facing the hilly landscape and the “Million Line” railway. The kitchen has everything, the bed is exceptionally comfortable, and nights are wonderfully quiet. There are lovely walks starting in Wijlre. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the four-person apartment, which was complete, well equipped, and tidy. Sitting out on either of the two terraces was very peaceful. On weekends, the steam train goes past behind the place twice a day.
