The station is only about 10 minutes away, and there are several nice walks right near the apartment. We also walked along the beautiful Geul River to Valkenburg in around 40 minutes. There are plenty of shops and restaurants there, and you can take a pleasant path on the other side of the railway line too. A cozy pizzeria is just two doors down and has other dishes as well. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. We were welcomed by a very friendly host, with Limburg pies, chocolates, and a sweet message waiting for us. This was the nicest apartment near Valkenburg we’ve ever stayed in.

I just had to leave you a note. I first visited in 1980, when I was a 15-year-old teenager with my parents 😁. I thought the area was beautiful and had such a wonderful time. My husband and I now visit Schin op Geul often, and we love walking around there. It’s lovely, and the station nearby makes it quick to get to Valkenburg and other cities. My husband used to stay at Schoonbron campsite, which was great too. We stayed there ourselves a few years ago, before it became a different park. When I walked by this time, I wasn’t sure you were still there, so it’s great to see that you are. Wishing you lots of success, and maybe we’ll come back one day. Kind regards, Nicole Clercx

Ad, the owner, gave us such a warm, personal welcome, and there was a delicious slice of pie waiting when we arrived. The apartment is peaceful, right beside a walking and cycling route, with a lovely view of the Gerendal. 🤩 It’s clean, nicely decorated in a modern style, and fully equipped. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful few days here. You can set off on lovely walks straight from the apartment, and Valkenburg is only a short drive away. The apartment was really nice and tidy, with a beautiful view. The owners were friendly, helpful, and easy to reach when we had questions. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another one straight away. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, and we got a lovely warm welcome with a delicious slice of Limburg pie. The setting is stunning, with a fantastic view and beautiful surroundings that are perfect for walks.
