Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Lisanne, the Cluster Reservation Agent, handled our booking and surprised us with a free upgrade to a superior room. It was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the shuttle made getting to and from the airport easy. We stayed two nights and would highly recommend it.

The free shuttle between the airport and hotel was handy, and the place was fine for a quick overnight stop. The rooms were about what I’d expect from this hotel brand. Breakfast could use improvement: there isn’t much choice, and there’s no toaster. It was okay, but nothing special.

The bed was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the airport is close by. The shuttle generally comes every 40 minutes. My room was small and dusty, with tobacco under the table. There wasn’t much room for personal things in the bathroom or elsewhere in the room. Staff have to cover both the bar and reception, so guests sometimes wait. It’s a decent place for one night near the airport.

Getting into the city centre by public bus from the stop near the hotel is a good option. The fare is the same as the bus from the airport to the centre, and those buses run often and aren’t always full. The hotel itself was very clean, the rooms spacious, and the staff helpful. The shuttle could be better because it’s shared with several hotels and can get very full. Food prices are quite high, and eating at the airport is often cheaper, with more variety.
