Hotel & Restaurant De Limbourg

We stopped in with friends for a drink on the lovely square in central Sittard. There was a broad choice of food and drinks, and the wine was good. We also ordered nachos with cheese, tomato, and chicken, plus bitterballen, and enjoyed them. Nice spot, with okay service.

The top-floor apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially for the price. There's no elevator, so be ready for quite a few stairs, but I thought it was worth the climb. The staff and owner were very friendly, and breakfast was light and nice. My husband and I were there in early December, but our daily travels kept us from trying dinner, which was my only disappointment. What a great place in a wonderful location. I'd happily stay again if we get to visit Sittard.

Andrea made amazing, authentic Italian food, and all three of us really enjoyed the meal. The prices were good, the service was friendly, and the food was fantastic. We'd definitely come back, and I'd recommend it for lunch or dinner.

The owners and staff made me feel like family, and I loved coming back from work to a smiling face asking how my day went. I stayed at De Limbourg Sittard for a few months this year while working in Sittard, and it's a lovely locally owned business to support. It's a classic European hotel on Sittard's square, the Markt. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is much bigger inside than it looks from outside. Historic churches are right next door, the train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and you're steps from everything in town. If you have a car, the nice underground Interparking ODA Parking is nearby, and I've reviewed it recently. I liked the daily breakfast, especially the coffee and croissants. There are also great cafes and restaurants close by. I can't wait to come back and see the area on holiday.
