B&B Tasty

We had a wonderful day and night here, two couples staying with Mies and Max. They gave us a very warm welcome, and the rooms were spacious, clean and fully equipped. Breakfast had plenty of variety and there was more than enough. B&B Tasty is right in the city center and highly recommended.

We booked Saturday to Sunday and barely slept. The shawarma stall across the street stayed noisy until 4:20 a.m. The owner thinks earplugs left on the bedside table will solve the problem. The B&B itself is nice and sits on the outskirts of Sneek, but the steep stairs to the room make it less suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

The room and accommodation are good, just as the photos show, and the location is very central. But a nearby snack bar stays open until 4:00 a.m., with young people gathering there for late-night parties, so it's hard to get a decent night's sleep. The landlord does provide earplugs, but otherwise seemed to take little interest in the guests. The breakfast table is high quality, though you have to set it yourself, and breakfast couldn't be served before 9:00 a.m. because the landlord didn't want to bring the fresh rolls earlier. There is a dishwasher for the washing up.

The owners clearly love what they do, and also run a delicatessen on the ground floor. You can taste that in the breakfast, which was simply fantastic. The B&B is right in the heart of Sneek, and the room had a very quiet air conditioner that was a lifesaver in 35-degree heat. Thank you!
