Jaap made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, always greeting us with a smile. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a delicious spread prepared each morning. We stayed in the Little Green Room, a cute, comfortable space with its own bathroom and a lovely garden view. Check-in was easy, so we could settle in straight away. It was a warm and charming place to stay, and I’d happily come back for another relaxing visit.

We slept so peacefully here, with the park behind the property and the town centre right nearby. The room was comfortable and cozy, breakfast was amazing, and the host was wonderful. We’d definitely come back.

We used this as a base for exploring Giethoorn, and coming back to such a cozy room was lovely. It had everything we needed, and breakfast was freshly prepared and a great start to the day. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The room was spacious and breakfast was fantastic. It’s a great little place, and the host really makes you feel welcome. I’d pick it over anywhere else in the area.

The weather didn’t always cooperate, but we managed to fit our outings between the rain showers, and the room was cozy to come back to. Jaap’s hospitality and recommendations were spot on for our time in Steenwijk. I’d highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
