Comfort and warm hospitality make this a lovely place to stay by the beach. Just what I was hoping for.

The room was lovely and the bed comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We got a very friendly welcome too. The Wi-Fi was out because of a new KPN service, but honestly, the quiet was a nice change :-) A highly recommended spot!

There’s a good restaurant right across from this lovely B&B, plus a cafeteria if you’re watching your budget. The owner was friendly, and breakfast was generous and good.

I haven’t stayed the night, but after my bike got a flat tire 🚴🏼♀️, I was welcomed so warmly. They gave me coffee and cake while the tire was being changed, then I carried on. That kindness alone makes me want to stay sometime. It’s also beautifully situated near the sea, with Schagen, Den Helder, and Alkmaar easy to reach.

On Sunday at 11:00 AM, we were treated to lovely hospitality, coffee, and cake. We cycled on to Spierdijk feeling good.
