Hotel Triniteit

Set in a beautiful spot, this is a really cozy hotel with excellent service. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

For a business trip in Terneuzen, this is a good choice: the price feels fair for what you get, and the staff are friendly. My single room was pleasant, with a useful desk and really good free WiFi. It's a small hotel with a family feel and a nice breakfast. For a holiday, though, I'd rather stay nearer the seaside.

Breakfast runs for plenty of hours in the morning, which is handy if you sleep in. The host offered to cook an egg and bacon when I came into the dining room. There was a broad continental spread too: lunch meats, cheese, boiled eggs, breads, cereal, yogurt, lots of fruit, fresh coffee, juice, milk, and plenty of toast toppings. I stayed for a week in July, and as a visitor from the USA, I hope this helps other English speakers traveling abroad. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and spoke enough English for us to communicate well. My room was clean and quiet, and the bed, made from two twins pushed together, was amazingly comfortable. There are several English-language TV channels. The stairs up to my room were steep and there's no elevator, so carrying my bag was a challenge, though the host offered to help. No air conditioning, but the fan in my room was enough to keep me comfortable. Bring plug converters to charge a phone or laptop. My laptop wouldn't charge with my converter, so you may want to look into a stronger one. The room's full-size hair dryer and fan worked without a converter. I'm giving it five stars for comfort, easy parking, cleanliness, the staff's hospitality, and affordability. If they could move the hotel to the beach, I'd give it ten.

Sandra and the team took very good care of us, and the staff were all so friendly. It's also very cyclist-friendly. I'd happily stay here again if I'm in the area.
