We had a top-floor loft facing the sea, with a huge balcony furnished with a table, chairs, and sun loungers. I'd suggest requesting one when you book. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed. The cleaners were always happy to bring extra sugar or coffee, and the room had a small, handy fridge. The bathroom was bright, clean, and spacious. There was an instant coffee machine too, and although I only drink tea, they kindly brought me a kettle. Staff always greeted us with smiles, and the service was very good overall. Amazing hotel and stay. Thanks to everyone, we'll definitely stay here again if we return.

I spent 10 days here for an autumn holiday on my "Discover the Neterlands" trip. The beach at Scheveningen is about a five-minute walk away. Buses and trams stop right in front of the hotel, and the city center, Den Haag Centraal, and Den Haag HS are about 20-30 minutes away by public transport. Nearby attractions include Scheveningen Beach, restaurants, and Madurodam. I was really satisfied with the hotel and its staff, and with the late-night salami pizza :-D. Breakfast had lots of variety for everyone's needs. The stylish, comfortable entrance hall was also a nice place to read a newspaper in the afternoon. The one thing I wasn't so keen on was the wind on my sixth-floor beach-view balcony. During windy weather it completely took over the balcony, and unfortunately that was most of my stay.

I wasn't even at the hotel in person, but called to get help with my booking. I got brushed off instead of receiving useful information or any effort to address my concerns. The booking went through, but I never got proper support, and in the end I felt ripped off. I've never had such a bad experience with a hotel. The treatment was unfriendly and unprofessional, and it seemed like they didn't care about their customers at all. I won't try to book with Ibis again. I'd strongly advise others to stay away, and hope this review keeps someone else from ending up in the same situation.
