Park - Madurodam

I loved the whole place, especially the simulations and the historic stories. The setup is really clever, and it’s interesting for adults as well as kids. There’s so much to see that you could easily spend nearly a whole day here. Best to arrive when they open at 10.

I came back after about 55 years, and it was still amazing. There’s a wind event that everyone should see. Entry is cheap, though the food isn’t, but that’s the case everywhere these days. Parking costs money.

Our whole family had a fantastic outing at Madurodam in The Hague, with plenty for both adults and kids. The Netherlands’ landmarks and history come to life through the miniature displays and interactive activities. Our child loved pressing buttons, getting things moving and taking part in the exhibits. We adults liked how the technology made everything feel lively, and it’s a great quick overview of the country’s highlights. A fun way to keep everyone interested while learning something new.

A fun visit whether you’re a child or grown-up. There are miniature models of buildings from all over the Netherlands, including Schiphol airport. The DC-3 airplane ride in the park is a great experience.
