Hotel Abdijhof Thorn

We enjoyed the food prepared and served by the Hofermans kitchen staff. It was absolutely exquisite. The hotel apartment was beautiful and perfectly equipped, with stylish decor that made it easy to relax. We stayed for two nights and will definitely return and recommend it to friends.

We had a delicious five-course dinner with matching wines at Hofferkeukens. The hotel apartment is beautiful and luxurious, with all the amenities, excellent beds, and everything very clean. Its decor feels both atmospheric and contemporary, and we received a personal, hospitable welcome. A perfect base for hiking or cycling.

We slept wonderfully in a great bed and got a fantastic welcome. The apartment is beautiful, set in picturesque surroundings. We also had a delicious meal at the restaurant, where the chef surprised us with original dishes. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back.

We stayed in Pottehuuske Zuster Josephine for two weeks and felt very welcome. I grew up in Thorn, and staying here felt like living there. The cottage is beautifully decorated with natural materials like wood, leather, and stone, and the heating works quickly and well. A family of four can stay comfortably. There’s a full kitchen with a gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge, cutlery, glasses, and plates, plus two bedrooms upstairs and a shower and bathroom. It also has a washer-dryer, drying rack, iron, and ironing board. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, lots of spreads, milk, and yogurt, enough to enjoy over several days. The hotel is in a beautiful spot right next to the church. During our stay there was a concert at the adjacent Open-Air Theatre, and we got free tickets. We loved the performance. We’ll return next time we visit Thorn. Highly recommended.
