Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum

Breakfast was still full of choices even though we arrived near the end: plenty of bread, fresh fruit, a proper fresh orange juice machine, and a waffle maker I highly recommend. The coffee was delicious too. We chose a privileged room and were lucky to get an early check-in. Since the stay was a surprise for my partner, I asked the front desk staff a few questions, and Katarina was so polite and helpful. Jill welcomed us back when we returned and was lovely to talk to. The hotel feels especially cozy in the winter weather, and the decor throughout is extremely well done. There’s an infrared sauna and a pool big enough to actually swim in for fun. The rooms are modern and don’t look like they need renovating. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom heater was perfect for drying clothes when the weather outside wasn’t favorable. The staff were incredible. Our experience was definitely 15/10!

The bathrooms are neat and well put together, and the service was great. The hotel itself was fine, but the parking lot elevator was broken, which made things a hassle. I booked because I saw there was a sauna, but it was infrared and basically did nothing. I had to keep switching sides just to feel anything.

The kids loved the pool, and we all found the beds really cozy. We stayed one night with our two little kids in connected rooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a rain shower. Both rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were super kind and helpful every time we dealt with them. We also appreciated the welcome drinks, good sightseeing suggestions, and how attentive they were. Breakfast options were good value. A great experience all around!

The room was decent and had everything I needed, though I forgot to turn the heat off because I hadn't noticed the radiator under the window. Breakfast seemed too expensive, so I didn't book it. The hotel is right in central Tilburg, with everything within a 15-minute walk. The staff were very friendly and keen to help.
