De Meerparel

I booked through Airbnb for a group of friends, but the place had almost nothing we needed: no towels, soap, detergent, spare pillows or blankets for anyone feeling cold in December, and no power extensions or converters. There wasn't any coffee, tea, sugar, or salt either. At least there was a roll of toilet paper. Airbnb places should be looked after better and should feel like a home, and this one didn't at all. The only reason I gave two stars was the great view and the lovely pigeons on the outdoor balcony.

The service was great once we found the office, and we enjoyed the activity out on the water. I especially loved watching the beautiful sunrises and sunset. It's an easy bike ride to the dunes and lovely beaches.

Such a nice place, with friendly staff. Sitting surrounded by all the watersports activity is really relaxing.

We were both so glad to find this place while studying temporarily in Amsterdam. A friend and I stayed for four months and loved the cosy apartment and its lovely lake view. Ours had two floors and three bedrooms, with enough space for friends and family who came to visit. The staff were kind and friendly, and helped whenever we needed something. We loved the town and area too, and will definitely come back.
