In the morning Marij put out a really generous breakfast, with eggs, sandwiches, fruit, juice, tea, and coffee. She even drove us to the nearby restaurant where she works for dinner, then gave us a little tour of the area. The folder in our room with information about town and local sights was thoughtfully put together and really useful. Our room was spotless and cozy, with a lovely open window looking onto the quiet forest and field. The bathroom was sparkling clean. At night Marij switched on a small light by our room so we could find our way to the toilet. Such a thoughtful touch. We felt at home right away. Marij was kind and humble, and spent time chatting with us about the Dutch Mountain Trial we’re walking and her travels around the world. Her beautiful B&B in Einrade made for a wonderful stay.

The decor feels bare and dated, like the 1960s, and the carpet was dirty. There’s a shower curtain beside the toilet. Breakfast was barely okay, and the place costs far too much for what you get.

Everything was very clean, and the room was quiet with a lovely big bed. The only downside was that the pillows felt a bit hard. Thanks for having us overnight!

It’s in a beautiful spot, but there are signs and notices all over the windows and shower. Our host was grumpy, and the whole stay felt like being at a strict boarding school. It was a real letdown for an overnight stay. With the chalk route, there don’t seem to be many other places to stay, which is a shame. I’d rather walk farther than stay here again.

We had a clean, spacious room with a comfortable double bed and a lovely view, and it was very quiet. There was a sink in the room, which was handy. The bathroom, with shower and toilet, was in the hallway and shared with others, though we were lucky to have it to ourselves. We were offered another room with a double bed, and it was a beautiful one. The hostess was a little stiff, so the welcome and conversation felt awkward. Breakfast was fine, with tasty rolls, toppings, sweets, coffee or tea, and juice. The B&B sits in a beautiful area, with lots to do nearby.
