I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting basic courtesy. The staff were shockingly rude to my child, nearly pushing them out and refusing to let them use the toilet. Even if toilets are only for customers, that doesn't excuse treating a child with such disrespect. It showed no basic humanity or empathy, and felt completely unprofessional.

We stopped for a drink with my parents and my partner, and the service was very friendly. Dogs are welcome on the patio.

We arrived just after the new owners had taken over. The owner was really friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The location is central without being too noisy, and the cafe has a good selection of beers. Great value, so we'll be back.

We popped in for drinks and got friendly service. The latte macchiatos tasted just right, and the fresh iced tea was cold and refreshing.

My son suddenly needed the toilet, so I asked for an espresso at the bar and explained I only wanted to buy something so he could use the bathroom. The bartender rudely told us, "no toilet and no coffee." I can't describe how that made me feel. What a failure of a human being. A horrible experience.
