Just a 10-minute trip from the beach, and the showers and toilets were spotless. Fantastic site.

The new owners are lovely and so helpful. It’s a great place!

We only booked one night and wished we’d stayed longer. The birdlife is fantastic, if that’s your thing, and waking to a dawn chorus with cuckoos and woodpeckers is something else. This small campsite sits in an area planted for conservation and is kept spotlessly clean by the owners. We’ve already booked to return next month.

The kids loved the trampoline and seeing so many stars, and we enjoyed long dog walks along Veerse Kreek. The charming town of Veere is an easy walk away, with a few nice shops and a restaurant where we treated ourselves to a warm pancake. There’s plenty to do around here, including Veerse Meer and the nearby beach in good weather. We stayed a few nights in winter with two kids and our dog, and felt like we were really on vacation. The cottage was fully equipped, with a spacious bathroom and a good rain shower. There’s a lovely garden too, though it was too cold for us to sit outside comfortably. I imagine it would be great in warmer weather. The new owners, who have run the cottages and campsite since August, were very attentive. They’d decorated the grounds and cottages for Christmas, which made our Christmas stay in the beautifully renovated barn feel even cozier. We had a wonderful time!
