There’s plenty of history around Veere, and our room looked out over the harbour. It was clean, comfortable, and laid out well. The hotel is in an old building, though we struggled to spot the entrance and reception. Getting to the rooms means taking a very steep staircase, which could be a problem if you’re not very mobile.

The staff were kind, welcoming, and quick to help, which made me feel at home. My room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the bed was really cozy. The hotel is beautiful and well kept, with restaurants and public transport nearby. I had a fantastic stay at "de Heren" and would happily return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel sits right by the harbour in wonderful little Veere. Our room was beautifully furnished, with a lovely view, a very good bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and infrared panel. Breakfast was great, and the staff were fantastically friendly and helpful.

The owners were so helpful, and the staff were very friendly. I loved the food at the attached 1611 restaurant, and hats off to the chef. Thanks, too, for the great double IPA! The location is beautiful and the rooms are well equipped. I couldn't be happier with my stay and will definitely be back soon.

The staff are really friendly, and there’s a small restaurant on site. It’s a lovely hotel in a historic house, with spacious rooms, all the essentials, and air conditioning. A great place to stay.
