Our room overlooking the harbour was lovely, and breakfast was good. We also liked being able to rent bikes straight from the Hotel. Veere is a stunning village, and the welcome at Auberge De Campveerse Toren was warm. Virgilio was fantastic and helped us a lot during our stay. We had a truly great time and would highly recommend it.

The dinner was very good, but the service was dreadful. After we were shown to our table, the amuse-bouche and the Crémant we ordered arrived quickly. Then we waited more than an hour without being asked what we wanted from the menu or given a chance to order more drinks. Our waiter seemed to focus more on the hotel guests. A three-course meal took over four long hours. We used to recommend this restaurant, but after this visit we can't anymore.

We spent another holiday there and loved the place. It's a wonderful historic building right at the start of the port. The restaurant serves traditional Dutch cuisine with a fresh spin. Fully recommend it.

Lunch didn't impress me much. The food was okay, nothing special, and the staff weren't exactly rude but certainly weren't friendly. I paid €19.95 for Garnalenkroketjes: one bun, which they couldn't provide in whole wheat, two garnalenkroketjes, one dip, and a plain side salad. Also, nobody seemed to speak Dutch???

We came across this hidden gem by chance and were so glad we did. The oysters, deer, and De Boel were wonderful, and the wines were delicious. The atmosphere was opulent, and the evening service was phenomenal, with attentive staff. Thank you.
